- WASHING CASHMERE -

Gently hand-washing some cashmere garments can prolong their life, but be sure to check the care instructions on the label before beginning.

Choose a detergent suitable for fine fabrics. Make sure to use the recommended amount of detergent and water temperature (usually either cool or lukewarm).

Submerge your garment in the soapy water, gently moving the suds through the fabric without rubbing. Then rinse your garment until the water runs clear.

Lay the garment on a clean, dry towel, roll up the towel and press with your palms to squeeze out the excess water, then smooth the garment out on a clean, flat surface to let it dry naturally. Never hang or tumble dry cashmere.
